Update 10-6
Well I have been going to radiation treatment for 2 weeks now, I don't really "feel" any different but I don't feel bad either. I am doing well for the most part, the steroids are keeping the worst of the symptoms at bay, the biggest problem I have is with my eyesight. Everything is still blurry as heck.
The future treatment options for my cancer still seem to be up in the air so after 30 days of radiation I am not sure what if anything comes next. No doctor will give me a prognosis so I am still going with the 18 to 24 month life span, I think it will be at least 24 months but maybe that is my being optimistic. I am dealing with all the financial stuff now so we don't have to later and that is depressing. Otherwise I am in good spirits. I am trying to sell the motorcycle so if anyone wants to but one mine is for sale :-(

Well it starts today
Well today is the first day of my radiation treatment - I am going to have 5 weeks of radiation treatment, 5 days a week. I am hopeful that it will help me as there are no other options on the table at this time. Treating brain tumors with chemotherapy is not easy, as a matter of fact you need to get into a study protocol, which right now there are none available. please wish me luck and pray for me, I will keep this site updated as much as possible along with my facebook page.

The Walk is Over, The Walk is Over
Well we had a great time at the Walk to Cure Diabetes event last Saturday. Here is a team picture of everyone that showed up. As you can see we had a large turn out.
I have been involved with this walk and with Montgomery General Hospital's Team for the last 3 years. This year was the best turn out we have ever had. Currently we have raised $7149 to our $8000 goal - Can you believe it!!! And I am not done yet - WE WILL GO OVER OUR GOAL !
Here are some more pictures : This is the banner that MGH had made for us and Ethan Zimmerman and I carried the whole walk, you will see pictures of him below. He was a huge help to me!

Here I am just walking up to ther event with our banner. Brenna, next to me, and Joe's girlfriend Melissa on the end.

Well as you can guess it was not just me and the employees from MGH, as always my family was with me all the way. Becky did a great job of raising donations this year. Here are some family and friends pictures from the walk.
MGH Friends who were all so important to the huge success of this event
Well in closing - for those of you who came all the way to the bottom - it is not over yet. We have until the end of April to keep getting donations.

PLEASE HELP CURE DIABETES - EVERY DOLLAR HELPS
You know the old saying “If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem”. I am asking each of you to join me, and be part of the solution.
What is the problem? Millions of children and adults have type 1 diabetes and we need to cure this disease. We don’t know why some people get type 1 diabetes, we have some of the answers but not all, and we don’t have a cure YET either.
Insulin was developed in the mid 1920, insulin while a wonderful discover is NOT a cure.
JDRF is the largest funder of research into a cure for diabetes. Will you please make a donation today.
